where is there a dentist who bases fees on income? (texas answers only please)?

My husband is in need of major dental surgery and we have no dental insurance. He is in pain all the time but honestly, who can afford a regular dentist, especially with all the work he has to have.

Check you might have a dental school in your area they do dental work for a fraction of a cost They are students but the do all work with some one who is board certified . Hope this helps

The higher the dentist fees are the higher the dentist’s income is.

unfortunately, the electric company, the student loan company, and other expense including the dentist’s staff don’t work for less just because you make less.
you need to get a second job and pay for your teeth.

Contact your local or state dental association and and see if there are any dentists who provide free or reduced cost care for low-income, disabled or senior patients.
Call your local health department and ask about health centers that provide dental care for free or on a sliding scale.
Go to a dental school, if there is one near you, for reduced costs.
Check to see if low-cost or free dental services are available near you.
Check and choose “Find a Health Center” to see if there is a low-cost clinic near you.
Check to see if your state has a “Donated Dental Services” program. D.D.S. is designed to locate dentists who will give free care to patients who are financially compromised due to medical problems. Not all states have D.D.S. programs.

Dental Surgery is very safe nowadays. It is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Eye surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.
I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients, as dental surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got her Dental and Lasik Surgery in India through the forerunners healthcare .She is more than very happy with the results. She just paid 25% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. Hope this helps
